Help us to build our painting library by sending us your favorite photo! We will use winning photo as inspiration for a painting to teach at an adult painting event.

THE RULES: 

  1. You MUST like & follow on Facebook &/or Instagram @LetsPaintYall
  2. Submit your favorite photo with GENERAL APPEAL. (Note: This contest takes place during the summer, however, the photo does NOT need to be summer related.)
    • MUST be YOUR photo. You MUST have full rights to the photo.
  3. Types of photos with general appeal that you may submit:
    • landscapes
    • waterscapes (oceans, lakes, rivers, etc.)
    • sunsets / sunrises
    • landmarks (any where)
    • buildings/structures (churches, barns, etc.)
    • still life
    • animals in nature (no pets)
    • Texas related
  4. Photo must not be too similar to any painting already in our library as the purpose of this contest is to expand the variety of paintings offered.
  5. Must send via E-MAIL (no DM's) to LetsPaintYall@yahoo.com
    • The email subject line must read: "2022 PHOTO CONTEST"
    • In the body of the email, you must type, or cut & paste:
      • "I certify that this is my personal photo and that I have full rights to this photo, and give LET'S PAINT, Y'ALL permission to use this photo as inspiration for a painting."
      • "I follow @LetsPaintYall on (state whether FB or IG or both.) We will need to verify that you like & follow if chosen as a winner.
    • Yes, you may submit as many photos as you like, however, EACH PHOTO MUST BE SUBMITTED in a SEPARATE EMAIL! And each photo MUST include all of the above info written in the body of the email.
    • Any submissions received without including ALL of the above will be disqualified from the contest. You will NOT be notified if disqualified. Please read all rules.

THE PRIZE: 

  • Winner(s) receive their choice of ONE of the following:
    1. FREE registration at a private adult event. Whether you host or are a guest of a private event, you will receive a FREE registration.
    2. If you HOST a private event, you will win TWO free registrations (One for the contest, and automatically a 2nd free one for liking & following on social media.)
    3. BOGO FREE registration at a public event!
    4. A FREE 11x14 completed painting of your photo!
      • Must pick up in 78254, or make arrangements to meet in San Antonio area.
      • Or we can ship the painting to you, and you'll only have to pay $10 for shipping costs.

ADDITIONAL CONTEST INFO: 

  1. Winner(s) will be announced at various times throughout the summer, depending on photo submissions received.
  2. WINNER(S) WILL BE ANNOUNCED & TAGGED ON FB & IG. (As liking & following on FB &/or is a contest requirement, this is where you will find out who/if you won. We will not be able to tag you if you don't/or no longer like & follow, in which case, we may still use your photo, however, you will not be able to claim any prize.)
  3. The number of winners will be dependent upon the number of QUALIFYING submissions received, THAT INSPIRE US TO CREATE A PAINTING OF THAT PHOTO.
  4. Winner(s) will be chosen based on LET'S PAINT, Y'ALL's inspiration to want to create a painting based on your photo. Just because it's a beautiful photo, does not mean the photo will be chosen.
  5. Contest ends August 31, 2022. Send as many INDIVIDUAL qualifying submissions as desired until that time. Submissions received after 8-31-22 will not qualify for prize, however, we reserve the right to use late submissions as inspiration for a future painting.
