FUNDRAISER Virtual Paint Event

to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – South Texas Chapter

Join us from the comfort of your own home while we paint “RED STARRY NIGHT OVER THE ALAMO” together for a worthy cause! No skills needed!

Pour yourself a glass of wine, grab a snack, and put on some of your favorite music, and make this a quarantined night to remember!


HOW THIS WORKS/HOW TO REGISTER:

Deadline to register: 

Wed., June 10th by 11PM for p/u at Olmos Park Dental (see below)
Thu., June 11th by 11PM  for Kit delivery (if qualified, see below) (or to meet, see below)
Fri., June 12th by 11AM for Kit porch pick up
Sat., June 13 by 11AM for virtual only

You will need:

  • Access to a laptop, desktop, or tablet. (Phone is also ok, but may be too small to view live paint party.)
  • Access to Facebook.
  1. Add LetsPaintYall@yahoo.com to your email address book right away so you can receive the confirmation email.
  2. Register and pay for the event by ordering tickets below. Paid registrants will receive links and passwords via email.
  3. Receive an emailed reply with your confirmation info.
  4. Join the PRIVATE FB GROUP as outlined in your emailed confirmation. You will be asked a couple of very simple questions for verification. This is to prevent ill-intended people from “crashing” and being inappropriate. Please join the FB Group ASAP, and check back as any important info re: the paint party will be shared on this page.
  5. Invite your friends and neighbors, the more the merrier!
  6. Check the FB Group page periodically, as this is where I will share important info re: the virtual paint party.
  7. Please do NOT SHARE your event access! Everyone needs to pay and register. It is not fair to those whom have paid if you give the event to others for free, and doing so will be considered theft which will result in your removal from the group and loss of all $ paid.

Getting Your Kit:

  1. PICK-UP OPTIONS
    • Olmos Park Dental: Dr. Lindsey’s office, 4340 McCullough Ave, San Antonio 78212 (210-822-8866)                                                 REGISTER BY  Wed., June 10th, 11PM
    • Meet at Target parking lot 1604/Culebra in Alamo Ranch (Note: If you miss the agreed time, you will need to make arrangements to pick-up.) REGISTER BY  Thu. June 11th, 11PM
    • Porch pick-up off Culebra near Harlan High School, San Antonio 78254                                                                                        REGISTER BY  Fri. June 12th, 11AM
  2. DELIVERY: Porch delivery to your front door. Kits will be delivered the day before &/or the day of event, ONLY IF YOU QUALIFY FOR DELIVERY, otherwise porch pick-up will available WITH EMAILED COMMUNICATION. OPTION #1: Virtual Party WITH Kit = $30 per person

What’s included:

  1. Step-by-step LIVE instruction and the opportunity to ask questions just like an in-person event!
  2. All supplies. (Yes, you get to KEEP EVERYTHING!):
    1. Pre-sketched 11×14 canvas
    2. All paint colors
    3. All paint brushes needed
    4. Cardboard Easel
    5. Plate for paints
    6. Cup for water
    7. Paper towel
    8. Disposable adult-sized apron
  3. Access to a private FB page for your group where you will receive important info prior to the event, ask questions, and where you can also interact with your others prior to the event who will be painting with us!
  4. Chance to win PRIZES! Details will be in the Private FB Page.

OPTION #2: Kit Only = $25 per person

  3. Pattern tracer
  4. Access to a private FB page for your group where you will receive important info prior to the event, ask questions, and where you can also interact with your others prior to the event who will be painting with us!

To Register & Pay:

  1. Purchase tickets below. OR:
  2. VENMO: Username = @Elsje-Bos (you will see our TX paint palette logo.) If using Venmo, you MUST send us an email at LetsPaintYall@yahoo.com to let us know so that you can receive links and passwords via email.
  3. Sorry, no discounts or “prize” certificates allowed for fundraisers. However, purchased gift certificates ARE accepted for ALL events.

Once you pay, you will receive emailed info for access to the private FB Page just for this event.


CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

  • Sorry, there are NO REFUNDS for fundraisers. Thank you for understanding. However, you may transfer your purchase to someone else, E-MAIL REQUIRED a min. of 48 hrs prior to the event. Email LetspaintYall@yahoo.com

By registering for this event, you automatically agree to be responsible for ALL of the following:

  1. Contacting us via email if you do not receive your confirmation email by the end of the following day after you’ve registered, OR by noon the day before event, whichever comes first. (Make sure you check your spam folder and make sure you’ve added our email address first.)
  2. Joining the FB Group page ASAP as listed in your confirmation email.
  3. Reading over all info and announcements posted in the FB Group page well before start of event.
  4. Understanding that if you do not join the FB Group page, that you will miss the entire event. (This is where FB Lives will take place for public events, and where Zoom links will be posted for private events.)
  5. Contacting us ASAP well before the event if you have ANY issues! (General questions can be asked on the FB Group page, as it may help the entire group.)
  6. If you miss the agreed upon meet-up time at Target for getting your kit, you are responsible for making arrangements to pick-up. Unfortunately, as we will be in the middle of deliveries, we are unable to wait beyond the meet up time, so please arrive a few minutes early.
  7. If you register for an event AFTER the SPECIFIC “REGISTER BY” date and time as listed above, you will be responsible for making arrangements to pick-up.
